GIANTEK TECHNOLOGY CORP

Giantek Technology Corp. Has been established since 1982 as the professional LED display manufacturer and exporter in Taiwan, focusing its research as well as development on the Chinese Computer System in the beginning. The first Chinese terminal made in Taiwan was engineered by the company in 1982, delivered to government Telecommunication Bureau, and the technique was then transferred to the National Research Institute for dissemination to the other electronic computer firms, such as Acer and Mitac. Giantek also designed and produced various English-Chinese terminals for both local market and Mainland China. With experience in Chinese Terminals, Giantek developed the first Chinese Generation Interface Card to Apple II and the Personal Computer, and also developed Video-text card for government Telecommunication Bureau.
